Ultra-Trace Impurity Analysis for High Purity and Specialty Gases
Bulk and high-purity gases are used across many industries such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, food production, electronics and semiconductors. Even trace-level impurities can significantly impact product quality, process stability and safety. Accurate determination of permanent gases and reactive impurities at ppb concentration levels is therefore essential.
The GAS High Purity Analyser (HPA) is a custom-configured GC solution designed for ultra-trace impurity analysis in a wide range of bulk and specialty gases. Using Pulsed Discharge Detection (PDD / PDHID) combined with extremely leak-tight diaphragm valves and fully inert sample paths, the analyser delivers excellent sensitivity, stability and reproducibility. Configurations are available on Thermo Trace GC1600 or CompactGC4.0 platforms and fully comply with ASTM D2504, D2505 and D8098.
