High Resolution Detailed Hydrocarbon Analysis

Detailed Hydrocarbon Analysis is an essential technique for characterising petroleum products such as gasoline blending components, naphtha, reformate and crude oil fractions. By separating and quantifying as many individual hydrocarbons as possible, DHA provides valuable insight into product quality, blending behaviour and processing performance.

The GAS Detailed Hydrocarbon Analyser is a custom configured GC solution designed to meet all major international DHA standards including ASTM, ISO, IP and EN methods. Leveraging proven GC technology and the Thermo Scientific™ GC 1600’s superior oven stability for dependable temperature control, the analyser delivers highly repeatable component identification using retention index databases. Fully integrated DHA calculations in the Chromeleon data system enable automated reporting of individual components, PIONA group types and key physical properties without the need for external software.
