High-Precision Transformer Oil Gas Analysis
Transformer oil plays a critical role in electrical insulation and cooling of power transformers. When electrical or thermal faults occur, the oil decomposes into characteristic gases that provide essential diagnostic information about fault type and severity. The GAS Transformer Oil Gas Analyser (TOGA) offers a fully automated and highly reliable solution for dissolved gas analysis (DGA) in transformer oil according to ASTM D3612 part c.
Using headspace sampling combined with proven gas chromatography, the TOGA accurately measures hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, methane, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and hydrocarbons C₂-C₄. The system integrates a microTCD, methaniser, and FID, ensuring sensitive detection down to ppm and sub-ppm levels with excellent repeatability. Designed for unattended operation, the analyser delivers consistent performance, automated verification, and long-term reliability for routine transformer diagnostics.
