In collaboration with Total Energies, IS-X has developed a mathematical-thermal extraction model to monitor the quality of ‘Virgin & Recycled polyolefins.’ With this technique, we can reliably measure volatile organic compounds in solids. We extract the granules using a gas phase and determine the concentration of VOCs by applying a mathematical formula. This allows us to detect and prevent contamination with the Headspace 500 autosampler.
